Team Managers
The main role is to support the team coach. Each Coach volunteers and dedicates a large amount of their personal time each week for training, match preparation, and of course, giving the girls every support during each match. As such, there is not a lot of time left to spend on the other less glamorous areas of running a netball team.
Team Manager is an important role. Ultimately you are the connection between the club & your team.
Managerial Responsibilities are:
- Check and understand what team / grade you are
- Book training facilities
- Keep Safe & present the ID Cards every week (graded only)
- Score or allocate this responsibility around your team
- Offer volunteers for Club Duties when requested by the Secretary
- Be Coaches eyes and ears when it comes to players attendance, any injuries, issues etc
- Communicate to your team any information that comes from the Club
- Responsible for the Teams Kit bag. To pick up and then return it with everything you were given at the beginning of the season along with bibs washed and bag cleaned.
- Implement and be on top of any COVID requirements that have been communicated to you by the club
- Communicate to your team the time / location of games
- Understand and follow the rules of our Association (including the Playing Up Guidelines)
- Comply and inform your team of the Parent and Player Code of Conduct (this has been accepted as part of the registration process)
