At Seaforth Netball Club, we aim to nurture a positive approach to umpiring and continually seek to improve the club’s standard of umpiring.

As a club we are required to provide an umpire for each Seaforth game played, across all ages.  Each player during the season will be allocated games of a younger age group in an equivalent grade to their own or lower.  This is a requirement of the MWNA constitution..

It is compulsory for all U12s to umpire a minimum of 2 games during the season.  SNC requires a parent/adult to be present for all junior games to assist in the umpire’s confidence and to provide support if necessary.

All players must adhere to the following:

–     full SNC uniform, OR, all whites; no tracksuit pants/leggings etc.

–     use a quality metal whistle

–     a hair band is the best option to use to keep track of the centre pass.

–     download the INF Official Rule Book for free

–     or purchase a hard copy from the Netball Australia Shop
