Code of Conduct

Seaforth Netball Club expects members, families, and officials to follow applicable Netball NSW and Netball Australia codes of conduct, plus club-specific expectations for safety, respect, and fairness.
Core expectations
- • Respect players, families, umpires, coaches, volunteers, and officials.
- • Prioritise child safety, welfare, and inclusive participation.
- • No bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, or threatening behaviour.
- • Support fair play and positive sideline behaviour at games and training.
- • Use club communication channels responsibly.
Club-specific portal expectations
- • Keep player/family data private and only use it for club duties.
- • Do not share internal notes or assessments outside approved club contexts.
- • Escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns to the committee promptly.
Breaches
Conduct concerns may be reviewed by committee and can lead to actions such as warnings, role restrictions, portal access suspension, or referral to governing body processes.
