Traffic lights & timelines

We use a simple traffic light system to help families quickly understand game status on the day.

Green — Scheduled

Games are going ahead as planned.

Amber — Pending review

Weather or court conditions are being monitored. A decision time will be shown where possible.

Red — Cancelled

Games have been cancelled due to weather or court conditions.

Decision timeline

• If games are cancelled the night before, we will communicate that as soon as possible.
• If games are not cancelled the night before, the next key update time is 7:00am on Saturday.
• Further updates may follow if conditions change.

Cancellation timing

• Night before if an early decision is made.
• Otherwise from 7:00am Saturday.
• Further updates if conditions change during the morning.

Cancellation criteria

Automatic cancellation

• Heavy rain or thunderstorms
• Lightning in the area
• Flooding or water on courts
• Extreme heat warnings
• Strong winds affecting safety

Possible postponement

• Light to moderate rain
• Overcast conditions
• Court surface concerns
• Temperature extremes
