Spring scoring & team officials

Every Seaforth Netball spring team needs a coach and someone who can score on a Tuesday night. Tell us what you can do and we'll do the rest — you don't need a daughter in the team to help.

What each team needs

A coach, and someone who can score. That’s the minimum — only registered team officials can run the PlayHQ scoring app.

You don’t need a daughter in the team. Coaching a team you have no child in is exactly as welcome, and under-18s can be officials too — they just aren’t issued a Working With Children Check.

Beyond that, more hands help. A few teams share scoring between three or four parents so it’s one night each across the seven Tuesdays instead of the same person every week. If that appeals, put your name down — you don’t need to know netball to score, it’s tapping a phone.

Spring teams aren’t named yet, so this is how we match you to one. Any couple of players in the team will do — we’ll work out the rest. If your own daughter is in it, she counts.

Working With Children Check

Adult coaches, managers and scorers need one — it’s NSW law for anyone in a child-related role, not a club rule. It’s free for volunteers.Don’t have one yet?
